Bev Doolittle was born and raised in California. In 1968, she graduated from the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. She met her husband, Jay, at school and they started married life with a painting trip to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks, a portent of things to come. After a five-year stint as art directors in Los Angeles, the Doolittles moved to a remote corner of the California high desert. Bev's inspiration was provided by both wildlife and wilderness. "We wanted to be close to nature, to paint outdoors and we wanted to travel." They soon accomplished both. Doolittle became a sensation in the limited edition art world by the late 1980s through her publishing program with The Greenwich Workshop in Connecticut. Her editions, and their sell out rates, are unsurpassed, even today. She has created 35 limited editions, five books and the designs for five porcelain collectible boxes. Now you can own Bev's newest work, as she explores an artistic medium that is over one hundred years old
Art World Gallery worked with Artist Bev Doolittle for many years and carries many of her works both originals & fine art prints.
